You would think making $500,000 a year would make it easier to get ahead financially. But a new Goldman Sachs survey found that 37% of people earning more than $500,000 say they’re living paycheck to paycheck. In this video, we look at how that happens and why having a personalized financial plan matters, no matter how much you make. In the same survey, 72% of people with a personalized plan said they feel on track for retirement, compared with just 33% of those without one. Meanwhile, stocks are hitting all-time highs even as interest rates keep climbing. That’s a combination you don’t normally see. We also look at how the stock market has performed in the fourth quarter during midterm election years compared with all other years.
